05/20/2026 – Theft Investigation: Two unidentified white males stole copper materials from Oldcastle Building Envelope in Midway after posing as customers. Suspects were driving a silver Chevrolet pickup with a black trailer and provided fraudulent business information. Requesting identification of the suspects and vehicle.
Narrative
On 05/20/2026, two male subjects arrived at Oldcastle Building Envelope, located at 920 Pottertown Road, Midway, Tennessee, inquiring about purchasing copper materials from the business. The subjects attempted to complete the transaction onsite using cash; however, the complainant advised that transactions of this type are not conducted in that manner. The complainant stated he retrieved a business card to exchange contact information with the subjects. The subjects then appeared to leave the property. After reviewing surveillance footage, it was discovered the subjects had backed a trailer up to the copper materials and loaded the copper onto their trailer before leaving the location. The suspects were observed operating a silver Chevrolet pickup truck with a black trailer. One of the subjects provided a business card; however, attempts to verify the information and contact the individual listed on the card have been unsuccessful. At this time, the business information provided is believed to be fictitious. Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the individuals involved is encouraged to contact the appropriate law enforcement agency.
